Last night, I stood with mine workers & their families as they have been striking over 1-1/2 years—seeking better wages & working conditions. AL needs more pro-Labor & pro-business people to sit at the bargaining together while standing in solidarity with AL’s working people.

Too often we forget how far we’ve come and even more often we needed reminding how much further we need to go. Don’t let them regress our efforts. Celebrate today be recommitting to a fight for our voices to be heard. #19thAmendment

Voter suppression in the South is nothing new. Together, we can take action and ensure that eligible voters in marginalized communities are able to have their voices heard!

There are a number of excellent organizations in Mobile working for better housing, education, neighborhood safety, food equity, environmental health, zoning, job opportunities and more.

We all have one goal in common: create a more just and vibrant city that serves all its citizens equally well.

There is a way to accomplish that goal:

GET OUT THE VOTE!

Let's pool our resources and move some mountains to elect people who share our vision of a fair and transparent government for Mobile, one that reflects our Black majority.

PLEASE JOIN US ON AUGUST 22 to brainstorm the best ways to turn out as many voters as possible for the November 8th election.

Maybe I'm crazy, but tossing aside longtime party leaders in support of an absolute imbecile who managed to lose the White House, Senate & House, get impeached twice, attempt a coup & be the subject of at least 3 criminal investigations in a single term might not be the best plan
