This month’s featured speaker is Councilmember William Carroll representing District 2 of Mobile, Alabama. Councilmember Carroll will be discussing annexation in the City of Mobile.
William Carroll is a native of Mobile, Alabama, and a graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. He continued his studies at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Construction Engineering.
He also was a member of the football team, where he was a three-time All-American. In 1993 he returned home to compete in the then Delchamps Senior Bowl. He is a member of FAMU’s Football Hall of Fame.
He is committed to serving his community and serves on numerous boards and committees throughout the city while also dedicating his time to coaching youth football and basketball. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. He is married to Johanne Trend Carroll, and together they have three children.
